How fast will my new TAO Professional flat iron heat up?

Your TAO Professional flat iron will heat up within seconds once the unit is powered on.

What temperature should I use to style my hair with the TAO Professional flat iron?

280°F – 330°F / For fine of chemically treated hair
310°F – 390°F/ For wavy to medium textured hair
390°F – 450°F/ For thick, coarse hair
A strand test is always recommended.

​​Can I use styling products before I flat iron my hair?

Use of hair styling products before ironing is not recommended.

I’m not sure if my hair can handle the heat of a flat iron? What should I do?

If your hair condition is questionable, please perform a strand test before flat iron the hair.

How do I change the temperature of my TAO Professional flat iron?

You can select the temperature by touching the HIGH (+) / LOW (-) control button. The temperature will show on the FND temperature display as you press the button. To change the temperature, continuously press and hold the HIGH/LOW button.

I think I forgot to turn off my TAO Professional flat iron what do I do?

After 30 minutes of inactivity, the flat iron is automatically shut off for safety and conservation of energy. By pressing the ON/OFF button, the temperature selected is reached again within seconds.

Can I return my flat iron if it breaks?

Yes, if you register your item within 30 days of purchase to activate its one-year warranty! The warranty is only valid when the card (included inside your flat iron box) is completed and returned within 30 days of purchase. Please include Proof of Purchase (copy of your receipt) and cut out the UPC code from the outer packaging. Detailed instructions on the warranty card placed inside every flat iron box.
